True story. It still makes me smile when I remember it.
In 2022, a October cloudy day, I was shooting street photography when I noticed a shooting session. I decided to slow down a little bit and watch carefully what is going on, without disturbing the three guys. From the distance I took also a few shots, not very good pictures, but enough to have a clue what’s going on.

After a few minutes, I heard one the the two guys speaking very loud. First it was not clear to me, what he was talking about, I didn’t pay attention. After a while, he asked somebody something, also very loud, and, because nobody else was around, I supposed he is talking to me. He asked if I live in Rosenheim. If yes, I could watch their show on 11.11.2022. Nice, I thought. I got closer to find more about this show. Then they noticed the camera in my hand and they looked instantly very happy and amused. We started to talk, and I found this: Stefan Pillokat and Emmeran Heringer are clowns (RigoL & tOrF) and Julia Urban is the director of the show. In absence of a real photographer they were trying to take some pictures for the local newspaper. Julia asked me if I could help with some photos.
I agreed, even if I was totally unprepared: I had no fill lights and only a fixed focal length, wide lens. The only thing I could do is to change a non disturbing background. The results are below.

After a few days I was walking in the same where I shot the photos. Suddenly I herd somebody calling my name. It was Stefan, he saw me from the window where they were rehearsing! We meet by chance for the second time: this is synchronicity (?) as described by C.G. Jung. He invited me to watch their rehearsal (Julia was not present, only Stefan and Emmeran) and take some pics (for the second time I was unprepared, this time I had a more wider lens). In exactly that day (synchronicity again) the local paper has published some article with an interview regarding their show.

I didn’t see the complete rehearsal, but I was very happy to meet again these two funny and very friendly guys. Before saying goodbye I was invited to the final rehearsal. Of course, I was allowed to take the camera with me. See below for a few shots from it. Besides that I got also 2 free tickets for the real show on 11.11.2022 which I enjoyed very much.
